ARCH Receives Applications for 2026 Affordable Housing Funding Round

In early September, ARCH received a robust set of applications as part of its 2026 affordable housing funding round. Approximately $7.2 million is available this year through the ARCH Housing Trust Fund. Demand for these resources remains high: ARCH received seven applications requesting nearly $16.8 million - more than double the amount available.

In addition to ARCH Housing Trust Fund resources, the City of Bellevue announced nearly $14 million from its Housing Stability Program and up to $11 million from its Housing Reserve for eligible projects within Bellevue. Bellevue received seven funding requests totaling over $32.9 million, further underscoring the need for affordable housing investments in the region.

Across both ARCH and Bellevue funding programs, applicants submitted requests for nine projects totaling 910 units of rental housing in six member cities, representing:

  • Five new construction developments

  • Three rehabilitation/preservation projects

  • One rent buy‑down in an existing project

As funding deliberations occur, ARCH and its coalition remain dedicated to supporting projects that deliver housing in a timely matter, maximize unit creation, and meet local housing needs. The ARCH Executive Board will advance funding recommendations by the end of the year, followed by consideration and approvals from ARCH member councils.
