Utilities Assistance

  • Bellevue Utilities - Information about discounted utilities for low-income seniors and disabled community members and the Emergency Assistance Program is available at Utility Rate and Tax Relief or by calling 425-452-5285.

  • Issaquah Utilities - Customers may apply for a flexible payment plan by contacting utilities (UB@issaquahwa.gov or 425-837-3070). For discount utility billing available to limited income seniors see this site.

  • Kirkland Utilities - The City of Kirkland offers reduced water, sewer and garbage rates for qualifying low income, single family residential customers who are 62 years or older, blind, disabled, or home kidney dialysis customers.

  • Puget Sound Energy - PSE is taking steps to ensure continued service to customers, with links to bill payment assistance and other tools on its page. PSE will work with customers on options such as payment plans and choosing a new bill due date. PSE launched a new energy assistance portal to improve access to funds available to low-income customers.

  • Comcast - Comcast is participating in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).  Comcast is also offering Internet Essential program. The school district will work to get free hotspots to families that need them. Please visit your school districts homepage for more information.

  • T-Mobile – T-Mobile is proud to participate in the new federal Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which offers internet service payment assistance to eligible households. We’re making the program available through Metro® by T-Mobile and Assurance Wireless®.

  • Redmond Utilities - for information on discounted utility bills for low-income seniors or permanently disabled residents go to the City of Redmond website.

  • Washington State Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

Legal Assistance

  • Eastside Legal Assistance Program (ELAP): (425)747-7274 - Staff of attorneys who provide legal services to people facing eviction, having a legal issue with their landlord, experiencing domestic violence, being discriminated against, or having another civil legal issue that is affecting their ability to pay rent.

  • Northwest Justice Project (NWJP): NJP provides legal assistance to eligible low-income families and individuals needing help with civil (non-criminal) legal problems in Washington state.
