Application Process
Step 1 – Initial Interest Form and Pre-Approval Submission: If you are interested in purchasing the affordable unit at Canopy Cottages, please complete this online form no later than November 24th at 3 PM. You will be required to attach your pre-approval letter in order to move forward with submitting your interest form. If you do not have a mortgage pre-approval letter, you must work with a lender to qualify for a standard 30-year mortgage loan. ARCH does NOT accept pre-qualification letters. If we do not have an interest form and pre-approval letter from you by November 24th at 3 PM you will not be placed on the priority list.
Step 2 – Application Review: After the deadline of November 24th at 3 PM, ARCH staff will evaluate applicants’ income, household size, first-time homebuyer status, and other criteria to determine the buyer for the home. If you are selected for this home, we will follow up with a request for income statements and eligibility verification. Application review may take up to 3 weeks from the application submission deadline. Please do not contact ARCH about homeowner choices until 3 weeks after the submission deadline. We appreciate your patience.
Step 3 – ARCH Staff will notify the applicant list: ARCH staff will provide an email update regarding applicant selection.
