ARCH Launches New Affordable Housing Search Tool for East King County

ARCH: A Regional Coalition for Housing has introduced a new online search tool designed to make it easier for individuals and families to explore affordable rental housing options in East King County. The new tool helps housing seekers calculate their income eligibility and locate properties that match a household’s income and other search criteria.

People can search by city and view nearly 175 apartment communities that offer affordable units, covering a wide range of affordability levels from extremely low income to moderate income. Applicants will still need to contact individual properties directly to confirm availability and complete their application.

ARCH understands the daunting task of finding affordable housing and is committed to supporting community members throughout their housing search. Individuals who need additional assistance are welcome to visit ARCH’s office hours for in-person guidance (Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 2 pm at the Together Center in Redmond). Community members can also sign up for ARCH’s mailing list to be alerted about new affordable rental properties when they open.

This new tool is an important step toward making affordable housing information clearer, easier to navigate, and more accessible for everyone in East King County.
