
Affordable Apartment list
ARCH maintains a comprehensive list of all rent-restricted housing in East King County, including properties that are part of the ARCH Rental Program, HUD assisted housing and other types of affordable housing. The list includes location, affordability level, size of units and contact information.
Interested applicants must contact properties directly to apply.
Each apartment has their own application and verification process.

ARCH does not maintain an affordable rental waitlist or actively track vacancies.

Types of Affordable Housing

Households pay rent based on income. Includes public housing and other subsidized housing. Typically, priority is given to households earning less the 50% of King County median income. Families pay approximately 30% of their income for housing, and rents change as income changes. King County Housing Authority owns and manages these properties.

Rents are also set based on income. Privately managed. Each complex maintains its own screening process and must be contacted separately.

Rents set based on property-specific covenants or financing. Includes ARCH Rental Program properties, tax credit properties and others. Rents increase annually based on changes in the median income. Each complex maintains its own screening process and must be contacted separately.

Senior rental housing has additional age requirements, either 55 or 62 and over. Some senior properties also rent to persons with disabilities.
