ARCH Advances Funding for 840 Units of Affordable Housing

In December of 2023, the ARCH Executive Board approved funding recommendations from the ARCH Community Advisory Board to advance the development of 840 units of affordable housing across East King County. The recommended projects will serve low-income families and individuals, seniors, people exiting homelessness, veterans, and persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These include new transit-oriented development projects adjacent to future light rail stations in Bellevue and Redmond, providing access to jobs and transportation. Two preservation projects will help to secure and increase affordability in existing housing. ARCH received $12.9 million in funding requests, and is advancing $6.1 million in awards.
