Income Guidelines

Affordable housing below market rates are available to individuals and families that meet the income guidelines. ARCH’s income and rent guidelines limit the incomes of eligible tenants, as well as the maximum rents that may be charged, to ensure that housing is affordable to those who need it.

How to use the income guidelines

Identify the percent of area median income (AMI) that your household will likely fall into in the chart below (based on the annual income of all household members over 18).

Note: total household income cannot exceed the above listed amount – For example: a 2-person household that makes $92,000 would qualify for a unit that allows incomes up to 80% AMI, but not 70% AMI. Please consider this when contacting properties. Upon application, property managers will conduct an income calculation and verification to confirm eligibility.
