and/or loans to homeowners and tenants facing eviction or foreclosures due
to short-term financial difficulties. If you are interested in this
program, you must call the Community Information line at (206) 461-3200,

assistance, energy assistance, phone bill assistance, and financial
development through their Family Support Services Program. Washington
State Housing Finance Commission
The Washington State Housing Finance Commission is a great resource to
find information on homebuyer education courses, low interest loan
programs and down payment assistance for first time buyers. Find out
if you're eligible for any of their programs. Community
Home Ownership Center
CHOC is a non-profit agency dedicated to providing information to
people interested in home ownership. CHOC is one stop shopping when
it comes to finding resources on homebuyer education, financial assistance,
debt and credit information, loan programs and fair housing. Habitat
for Humanity - East King County
Habitat for Humanity is an international non-profit housing agency
that provides low-income ownership housing to people eligible for their
program. The East King County office is one of 30+ partners in
Washington State. The Habitat International site has interesting
