Section 8 Preservation Project

Acquisition of Ellsworth House by Saint Andrew's Housing Group, a local housing non-profit, preserved long-term affordability of Section 8 housing with a soon-to-expire contract.  Ellsworth House was a high priority project for Mercer Island because it is the only directly assisted lower income housing in the City.   
 

Seniors Served
Ellsworth House is a 59-unit Section 8 Senior Rental Housing.  All residents are low and very-low income, paying one-third their income for housing costs.
