Ownership Housing Some
ownership projects, such as Habitat and Avon Villa manufactured home
community, are assisted through the Housing Trust Fund. Most
projects provide affordability in exchange for land use incentives and fee
waivers offered to the builder. There are over 115 price-restricted ownership units
with long term affordability administered for member cities by ARCH.
Most of these units are attached homes and condominiums. Some
affordable units are great examples of innovative design, such as duplex
units at Lakeview Park in Kirkland, and cottages and small lot detached
single family at Greenbrier in Woodinville.
